SKV Warriors of Sanvordem defeated Super Avengers CC of Altinho, Panaji by huge margin of 115 runs to emerge champs in the 2nd edition of MLT cricket tournament organized by MLT Cricket Club of Sanquelim, at Sanquelim Municipal grounds. Batting first, SKC Warriors amassed 189 for 7 in their allotted 20 overs. In reply, Super Avengers' innings collapsed for a poor score of 74 runs. MLT CC President Siddhesh Amonkar, Lavu Kanekar, Sunil Shirodkar and Yogesh Lawande distributed the prizes.
Brief Scores: SKC Warriors,189 for 7 in 20 overs (Bharat Arkas 39, Tushar Sawant 30, Akshay 25, Sachin Naik 48 runs. Rupesh 4-26, Viraj 1-28, Gaurish 1-34 runs) beat Super Avengers CC, 74 all out in 13.1 overs (Rupesh Sawant & Somesh Sawant 13 runs each.
