Sporting Clube de Goa U-14s continued their fine run in the GFA U-14 league as they breezed past Goa Velha SC 2-0 at Batim Grounds on Wednesday. Nash Camilo (26’) and Rio Fernandes (45’) scored for Sporting Clube de Goa.

Sporting were on the offensive right from the start as their forwards dominated the Goa Velha backline with their height advantage. After a few close attempts Sporting finally drew the first blood in the 26th minute when Nash Camilo caught on to a wonderful back pass from Joseph to slot home the first goal. The score stayed 1“0 at half time.

In the second half, Sporting were back in business right at the start when Rio Fernandes got hold of a good pass from Nash to take a clean strike from the edge of the box to give Sporting a comfortable 2-0 lead. In another match Don Bosco Oratory beat Cabesa SC 3-1 with Shawn Vessaoker (6’), Jason Rego (11’) and Dion Nunes (26’) getting onto the score sheet for Don Bosco while Pratmesh Gawas (12’) scored one for Cabesa.
