PanajirSt Anthony High School, Guirim defeated St. Joseph High School, Calangute 1-0 to claim the U-14 Boys Bardez Taluka Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs played at Duler on Saturday.rJames David scored the all important goal in the second half of the match. Ryan Dias, Franco Andrade and captain Langston Fernandez played exceptionally well throughout the match for Guirim. Chief Guest Adv. Domnic Pereira, Executive Member, GFA greeted both the teams prior to the finals and later gave away certificates to the winners and runners-up teams. In the match, for the third place, St. Britto High School, Mapusa prevailed over St Ann’s High school, Thivim 4-2 via tie-breaker.
