St Theresa High School, Candolim defeated Lourdes Convent High School, Saligao to win Bardez Taluka under-17 boys volleyball tournament organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth affairs at Peddem sports complex. The Candolim school won the match in the straight sets, winning 21-15, 21-8. In the third place match, Sacred Heart High School, Parra defeated LD Samant Memorial High School, Porvorim 2-1.
Technical officials Rama Dhawaskar, S Dhawaskar, Shriram Salgaonkar and Sagar D helped Taluka Sports Organiser Anant Sawal in conducting the tournament.
