St Xavier’s College, Mapusa cruised to the final after defeating DM’s College and Research Centre, Assagao 3-0 in the inter-collegiate championship, at Goa University ground, Taleigao, on Saturday.
In the first half, St Xavier’s College scored twice through Pushpa Parab.
In the second half, the Mapusa College continued their offensive play and scored another one through Jwella D’Souza.
In second semi-final, Rosary College, Navelim registered a comfortable 2-0 victory over Don Bosco College, Panjim. In the first half, the score remained goalless. Post-resumption, Rosary College showcasing strong offensive play, netted two goal through Lillian Fernandes and Aniela Barretto to confirmtheir seat in the finals.
The final will be played on October 16 at the same venue at 10 am.
