Susegado Strike successfully concluded Fight Night 6 recently, at Sala de Gaspar, Miramar, welcoming a full house with a gate of 350 spectators for an action-packed evening of professional boxing.

The fight card brought together boxers from Goa and across India, combining competitive matchups, emerging talent and local representation before an enthusiastic audience.

The evening opened with a compelling women’s bout between Chanchal and Laxmi. Chanchal entered the ring as the visibly undersized boxer, but any perceived physical disadvantage quickly disappeared once the opening bell sounded. She came out roaring, fought with conviction and appeared to hold the edge over her opponent through much of the contest.

Her unanimous-decision victory was a performance filled with courage, determination and tremendous heart, setting an electrifying tone for the rest of Fight Night 6.

The opening contest was followed by a special exhibition bout between Goan boxers Akash Salgaonkar and Umesh Chavan. Their spirited performance raised the energy inside the venue and was enthusiastically received by the crowd, showcasing the skill, heart and promise within Goa’s boxing community.

At the conclusion of the exhibition, Susegado Strike’s own Prahlad Panda entered the ring and raised the hands of both boxers in appreciation of their performance and the spirit in which the contest was fought. The moment brought the audience together in celebration of Goan boxing. Bikramjeet Singh then faced Aryan Naresh in a fiercely contested encounter.

Both fighters stood their ground and exchanged throughout the bout, with Bikramjeet demonstrating the grit and character required to secure a unanimous-decision victory.

Ankit Sharma followed with a composed and disciplined performance against Akshay A.S., controlling the contest on his way to another unanimous-decision win. Ashwin Ramesh and Pushpak “Pushpa” Varma then produced one of the evening’s most spirited battles. The two fighters traded with intensity and refused to give ground. Ashwin’s determination, sustained pressure and character ultimately earned him the unanimous decision.

The final bout of the evening featured Goan favourite Kailas Gauns against Thiruchelvam T. In a commanding and highly professional performance, Thiruchelvam brought the contest to a decisive end by knockout, closing Fight Night 6 with one of the night’s defining moments.
