U-15 DIV II LEAGUE: Rossman Cruz hammer DBO Fatorda in 4-2 win

Rossman Cruz Nagoa secured a 4-2 victory against Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda in the Goa Football Association U-15 Division II League at the DBO ground in Fatorda, on Wednesday.
The match saw early drama when Rossman Cruz took the lead in just the second minute through Daren Noronha. Alvito Pereira doubled the advantage for the visitors in the ninth minute.
DBO Fatorda fought back and managed to reduce the deficit at the half-hour mark. However, their hopes of a comeback were dashed when Alvito scored his second goal of the game in the 34th minute, giving Rossman Cruz a two-goal lead again.
The second half saw DBO Fatorda come out with renewed energy and Franjoy Andrade scored in the 55th minute, bringing the score to 2-3. However, Rossman Cruz continued to apply pressure and managed to score again in the 64th minute through Pervin Patel, extending their lead to 4-2.
The match was not without its fair share of controversies. Emistron Miranda of DBO Fatorda received a double booking, leading to his sending-off in the second half. Adrian Noronha of the same team was also shown a yellow card for rough play.
In the end, Rossman Cruz held on to their two-goal lead to secure the win.
In another match, FC YFA scored a resounding 4-0 win over SCC Loutolim at SAG ground, Benaulim.
Vivaan Sampat scored a brace for the winning team netting both his goals in the second session, while Elrad Braganza and Casvino Fernandes were the other goal-getters for the winners.

Salcete FC down South Goa Utd 2-1
MARGAO: In an exciting match held at Navelim, Salcete FC defeated South Goa United 2-1. The first half of the match was evenly contested, with both teams displaying good attacking football but failing to find the back of the net.
It was in the second half that the game really came to life. Josley Gomes of Salcete FC opened the scoring in the 47th minute with a well-placed shot. Two minutes later, Juvenio Simdes doubled the lead for Salcete FC.
However, South Goa United did not give up and managed to pull one back through Shiva Lohra in the 52nd minute. Despite their best efforts, South Goa United were unable to find an equaliser and the match ended in a hard-fought victory for Salcete FC.
