United Club of Orlim recorded a resounding 4-1 win over United Club of Benaulim in the Goa Football Association Third Division League match played at Benaulim Ground on Thursday.
There were no goals in the first session of the play. Crossing over, Melbourne Carvalho scored the first goal of the day in the 47th minute. Soon, Stanley Fernandes restored parity to make it 1-1 in the 53rd minute. Minutes later, Melbourne added his second before scoring two more to take the final tally to 4-1.
In another match played at Chandor Church Ground, Maina Sports Club hit Uguem Rising Club for a tennis score 6-2. Aleeward scored the first goal in the 15th minute. Maina SC scored their second at the hour mark through Grevilo Lima before Aleeward scored his second.
Mackenzie pulled a goal back for Uguem in the 72nd minute but Merlino Fernandes scored the fourth before Aleeward scored the fifth and completed his hat-trick for Maina SC in the 81st minute.
Ashely Carvalho pulled another goal back for Uguem however, Aleeward scored his fourth and team’s sixth in the dying minutes of the game to finish with a scoreline of 6-2.
Meanwhile, Parish Youth Nuvem scored a fluent 6-0 win over Maharudra SC at Raia Ground on Thursday.
Francis Colaco scored a brace while Swindon D’Silva, Max Colaco, Cedar Colaco and Denikson Dias were the
other goal scorers for the
winners.
In another match, Sirvodem Sports Club and Sporting Club of Davorlim played out a goalless draw Bidesh XI scored a fluent 2-0 win over Goan Warriors FC.
At Anjuna Ground, PVC Parra thumped Verem United SC 8-1 while Bastora United SC defeated Guirim YCSC 2-1.
In another maatch, hat-trick boy Yallapa Satyappago helped Chapora Yuvak Sangh beat Sai Avatar SC 3-0.
