Unity HS girls win U-14 throwball title

VALPOI: The throwball girls team (u-14)of Unity High School Valpoi Sattari, won the Sattari taluka championship in inter-school taluka level throwball tournament held at Valpoi.

Unity High School team defeated the team of Govt High School Bhuinpal Sattari in the finals. Unity High School's Headmaster Sajjan Sebastian, Manager Mustufa Aga and PE Teacher Akram Shaikh congratulated the team for their success. Meanwhile, the boys team (u-14) also emerged champions after defeating Govt High School Thane Sattari in the finals recently.

The Goan NetworkPanajiAt the 8th National Taekwondo Poomsae Championship held at Swarnabharati Indoor Stadium, Vishakapatnam, recently, Angela R Naik, Borda and Elizabeth Flora Luis, Vasco bagged the gold medal in their respective category.They will now represent India in the forthcoming Asian Taekwondo Championship to be held at Chinese Taipei and the World Taekwondo Poomsae championship in Peru in 2016.
