Off-spinner Vedant Naik has been recalled in the Goa Ranji Trophy squad, while all-rounder Harshad Gadekar has been dropped after being included in the squad for Services match but had not got into the playing eleven. Vedant, 21, had played Ranji cricket in 2015. Meanwhile, Sagun Kamat continues to be the captain of Goa as the hosts gear up for clash with Vidarbha at Porvorim from November 17-20.
Goa have five points from four matches so far and are yet to taste a victory this season. Prakash Mayekar's boys were unlucky not to win their last match against Services. Vidarbha on the other hand are a strong team, currently placed top of the table with 21 points from four matches.
