Viscount High School, Pernem beat Kamleshwar High School, Korgao by 16 runs to win the Pernem Zone Under 16 Dilip Sardesai inter school cricket tournament organized by Goa Cricket Association at Sawalwada ground, on Sunday.
Batting first, Viscount High School scored 139 all out in 30.5 overs courtesy Abhijeet Kudav, who cracked 39 runs. Shivam Parab also chipped in with a quick-fire 19. For Kamleshwar High School, Vipul Kambli dismissed four batsmen for 18 runs.
In reply, Kamleshwar High School were shot out for 126 runs in 30.5 overs. Viraj Gaude played the lone hand, scoring 43 runs. For Viscount High School, Yeshwwant Manjrekar was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 5 for 25.

Mahalaxmi CC, St Estevem defeated Youth Club of Khandola by 48 runs in the Tiswadi Zone ‘A’ Division League cricket tournament of Goa Cricket Association. At Porvorim Cricket Academy ground Mahalaxmi CC scored 193 batting first and then dismissed YC of Khandola for 145.
