Dr V V Kulkarni, Director at National Research Centre on Meat from Hyderabad and Dr S Vamshi Krishna, Assistant Professor of Veterinary Microbiology, College of Veterinary Sciences, Korutla, shall be the guest speakers and will throw light on the subject, states a press note by Dr Marwin Lopes, Registrar at the Goa State Veterinary Council.
As part of World Veterinary Day, free veterinary health camps are also being organised on April 28 from 9 am onwards at the Government Veterinary Hospitals at Mapusa, Tonca, Margao, Ponda and other Veterinary Institutions in the State, which involve various activities like free vaccinations, treatment, grooming, adoption counters, fancy dress for pets, quiz competitions, painting for children, etc.
Registered members of the State Council are requested to attend the same as part of Continuing Veterinary Education. Pet owners, especially children, are welcome to attend the free veterinary health camps on April 28 from 9 am onwards.
