T-30 is a new format in limited overs cricket which is being developed by ‘Zelus Sports’. The idea is to make limited overs cricket more entertaining.
In this format, each innings is of 30 overs and each over is of 4 balls. The game is played with yellow coloured season ball to distinguish it from T-20.
Zelus Sports had successfully organized a T-30 tournament for the first time in the month of April 2016 in Mumbai. It generated a lot of interest in the players as well as viewers.
Now Zelus Sports is organizing two friendly matches in Goa to promote this format here. The first match will be played between Managing Committee of GCA & Electronic Media & the second match will be played between Advocates & Print Media. This has been made possible with help from Chetan Desai (President “ GCA), Vinod Phadke (Secretary“GCA) & Prashant Kakode (CEO“GCA). Both the matches will be played on May 10 at the GCA grounds at Porvorim. The first match will start at 9am.
