Dempo SC scored a comfortable 4-0 win over Churchill Brothers at Ella ground, to emerge Group winners of the AIFF U-17 Youth League securing 17 points from 7 matches. They qualified for the next round with a game in hand.
Anni scored the first goal in the third minute after being fed by Favio Martins. Anni fired a low shot from outside the 18-yard box. At the half-hour mark, Kayden Faleiro doubled the lead and it was Favio once again with the initial spadework who ran down the goalline and played a cutback pass to Kayden. The winners led 2-0 at the break.
The third goal came when Ashon Vaz set up Tejas with a clean pass. Tejas took a brilliant first touch and placed the ball in the goal. Tejas scored the fourth in the stoppage time when Tanuj Singh broke inside the box and set up his team-mate, who made no mistake to complete his brace.
