Ambelim Sports Club scored a hard-fought 2-1 win over Curtorim Gymkhana to move into the semifinal of 15th London Trophy Inter Village Football Tournament 2023 organised by Goa Velha Sports Club at Goa Velha Sports Club ground. Semson Fernandes put Ambelim Sports Club ahead in the 18th minute when he blasted into the Curtorim nets from close range giving no chance to the Curtorim keeper Floyd Hilario. Curtorim Gymkhana equalised in the 23rd minute through veteran Milagres Fernandes who placed into the Ambelim nets off a well-taken free kick. At halftime, the score read 1-1. In the second half, Ambelim Sports Club regained the lead through Nosh Pinto off a Semson Fernandes assist in the 38th minute. Semson Fernandes of Ambelim Sports Club was awarded the Man of the Match by Stanley Lopes (Player and Life Member of Goa Velha Sports Club).Badminton, Table Tennis tourney at Campal
