Bab Bakery, Benaulim beat UK Boys, Borda 2-0 via tie-breaker to win All Goa 5-a-side football tournament, organised by New Colony Boys, Mandopa at Mandopa ground.
Bab Bakery were awarded a cash prize of Rs 15,000 and a trophy, while UK Boys bagged a prize of Rs 12,000 and a trophy. Seridon of UK Boys Borda was named as the Best player of the final, while Rizwan of Bab Bakery won the prize for scoring the last goal of the final.
Sidesh Bhagat, Sarpanch of Aquem Baixo, was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of guest of honour Rohit Kumar and special invitees, Steven Vaz, Danny Fernandes and Robin Rodrigues, president of Mandopa Sporting Club.
