Bandora Judo Centre claimed the runners-up title at the Sub Junior State Judo Championship, organized by Warrior Training and Fitness under the Goa Judo Association at Campal Indoor Hall, Panjim.
Sanvi Amey Lotlikar stood out, winning gold in the under-28 kg weight category and also being named the Best Judo Player of the tournament. Her siblings also excelled, with Purti Amey Lotlikar securing gold in the under-36 kg category and Swara Shet Verekar winning gold in the under-40 kg category. Manjusha Gaude also triumphed, taking gold in the open weight category.
In the boys' events, Divyang Kurpaskar won gold in the under-30 kg weight category. Additionally, Sanath Nageshkar (under-45 kg), Adhiraj Bandodkar (under-60 kg), and Daksh Gaude (under-66 kg) each earned bronze medals.
All athletes train diligently at Bandora Judo Centre in Ponda, Goa, under the expert guidance of Aditya Kankonkar, an international judo player. The center offers comprehensive training for judokas of all age groups, from beginners to advanced levels.
