Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda secured a hard-fought 1“0 victory over Shiroda Youth Club to advance to the semifinals of the Parish Cup, organized by Parish Youth Nuvem, at the Nuvem Church ground on Friday.
The first half ended goalless as both teams struggled to create clear-cut chances. The breakthrough came in the 38th minute when Hanslum Furtado found the back of the net, giving Don Bosco the crucial lead.
Despite Shiroda’s efforts to find an equalizer in the second half, Don Bosco’s defense held firm to preserve the win. Furtado’s decisive goal and overall performance earned him the Man of the Match award.
