Dhempe College of Arts and Science, Miramar and Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Assagao emerged as the men's and women's champions at the Inter-Collegiate Swimming Championship 2023-24 conducted by the Goa University on Friday at the SAG Swimming Pool, Campal, Panaji.
There were a total of 10 events held for men and women. Aryan Sharma of Dhempe College of Arts and Science, Miramar was named as the best male swimmer while Tanisha Murgod of St Xavier’s College, Mapusa took home the title of the best female swimmer.
RESULTS: Men - Winners: Dhempe College of Arts and Science, Miramar, Runners-up: Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Assagao, Second Runners-Up: (joint winners) St Xavier’s College, Mapusa & Goa College of Pharmacy, Panaji; Women - Winners: Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Assagao, Runners-up: St Xavier’s College, Mapusa, Second Runners-up: Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science, Margao.
