MARGAO: Fatorda-Murida Veterans stormed to the finals of the Sesa Vedanta AWES 50+ Veterans football tournament after defeating Calangute Veterans 3-0, in the semi-finals, at Sinquetim Sports Complex, on Thursday.

Fatorda-Murida Veterans dominated proceedings from the start and took the lead in the sixth minute through Santano Furtado. Changing over, Fatorda doubled their lead through Francis Colaco in the 27th minute. Seby Vaz made it 3-0 in the 40th minute.

Fatorda-Murida Veterans will now meet Illhas Veterans in the finals on October 14.
