GCC Paddlers crowned champions of Saxtti UTTTC

GCC Paddlers clinched the Saxtti UTTTC (Ultimate Table Tennis Team Championship) title, defeating Uniqlo Warriors 3“1 in a gripping final at Gomant Vidhya Niketan, Margao on Sunday.

Organised by Saxtti Sports and Cultural Club, the tournament delivered high-quality action through a unique mixed team format that brought together Goa’s top players across age groups. In the semi-finals, GCC Paddlers edged past Nivian Vipers 3 - 2 in a closely fought contest, while Uniqlo Warriors registered a 3 - 1 win over Smash and Dash to set up the title clash.

The winning GCC Paddlers squad comprised Ashutosh Chari, Amit Naik (Captain), Chandan Caro, Daniel Pinto, Dr. Brennan Tavares, Gaurish Burye, Leslie Noronha, and Munir Khan.

The Winners pocketed ₹50,000 with trophies and duffel bags, runners-up claimed ₹32,000 and trophies, while semi-finalists earned ₹24,000 each with team trophies.

A total of eight teams participated in the championship, with Kiran Titans, Nopex Ninjas, Goa Superkings and Sameer Spinners being the other teams in contention.
