FC Mardol beat Carambolim SC in the GFA Second Division League at Taleigao on Tuesday.FC Mardol started the match on an attacking note. The deadlock was broken by FC Mardol in the first half through Niyaz Tambak.
In the second half, Carambolim SC created many chances but missed to find the back of the net.
Niyaz Tambak completed his brace for the winners in the 82nd minute, sealing the victory.
Meanwhile, United Club of Telaulim and Guirdolim Club shared the points in a 4-goal thriller after playing a 2-2 draw in the Second Division League at Rosary ground on Tuesday.
United Club of Telaulim opened the scoring through Ethan Fernandes in the 9th minute of the first half.
Guirdolim equalised the score through Presly Pinto. In the 13th minute, Shanon Barreto added another goal for United Club of Telaulim thereby making it 2-1 before the break.
In the second half, United Club of Telaulim were very dominating but failed to score more goals.
Presly Pinto brought Guirdolim back into the game with his equaliser in the 77th minute thus completing his brace.
