The annual general meeting of the collective and individual members of the Goa Football Association (GFA) will be held on Sunday, July 31 at 10 am in Panaji.
A notice has been issued under Article 22 of the constitution of the GFA. Each collective member is to be represented by any one of the following in order of preference - 1. President, 2. Secretary, 3. Appointed Office Bearer under Article 2.22.
This follows the directives of the president, who pointed out that the agenda would be finalised by the Executive Committee. Some executive members were unhappy as the notice was not discussed in their meeting.
Gymnastics selection trials on July 24
The Gymnastics Federation of India will conduct selection trials to pick the Indian AER Teams (Senior, Junior & Age Group) on July 24 at Chandigarh for participation in the 7th Asian Aerobic Gymnastic Championships in Pattaya, Thailand from September 3-5.
Age groups will be as follows - Senior - 18 & above (born in 2004 or before), Junior - 15-17 years (born in 2005-2007), Age Group - 12-14 years (born in 2008-2010). The selection trials will be conducted as per the FIG Aerobic Gymnastics Code of Points 2022-24.
Only registered players with Goa Gymnastic Association as of date can participate in the selection trial. Interested players should submit their name on or before July 14 to Goa Gymnastic Association (WhatsApp 8381011646) or by email - [email protected]. The participation will be at no cost to the association.
