Goa Velha Veterans defeated Nuvem Veterans 3-1 and moved into the quarterfinals of the Batora Veterans Cup organised by Batora United at DSYA ground Curtorim, on Tuesday.

Goa Velha Veterans surged ahead through Victory Lobo in the 10th minute. As the match progressed, Gavin Araujo doubled the account for Goa Velha Veterans in the 15th minute.

In the second half, Abraham D’Mello made it 3-0 for Goa Velha Veterans in the 46th minute while John Miranda pulled a goal back for Nuvem Veterans in the 50th minute.
