Govt High School Gaval Khola edged past St Anne's Institute, Agonda 3-2 to emerge as winners of the Canacona Taluka U-12 years boys football tournament, Devabag, recently .
Sachin Vishwas scored the first goal in the 14th minute in the first half .
In the second half, Rohan Jitonkar of Govt HS Gaval khola scored the equaliser at 37th minute.
In the tie-breaker, Govt High School Gaval Khola proved to be the better shooters.
The chief guest for the prize presentation function was Simon Rebello, councillor, CMC Canacona who gave away the prizes in the presence of Kishor Bandekar, APEO Canacona, Janardjan Bhandari, President CS&C Club Sharendra Naik.
