Guardian Angel SC to hold football trials

Guardian Angel Sports Club, Curchorem, will conduct football selection trials on July 28 at the Pontimol Curchorem ground from 3 pm to 5 pm.

The club is seeking players for the following categories: U-17 (born in 2009 or 2008), U-19 (born in 2007 or 2006), Senior Professional Team

All interested players should report with complete playing kit, Aadhaar card, and original birth certificate.

MARGAO: Varca SC advanced to the next round of the inter-village football tournament organized by St. Sebastian Union Club after defeating CAC Sports Club 4-3 in a penalty shootout, at Dando ground, Benaulim, on Friday, ended goalless after regulation time.Elvis, Clayton Luis, Jobern Cardozo, and Aaron Barretto converted their penalties for Varca SC, while Elvino, Aaron, and Aslon scored for CAC Sports Club.
