San Antonio Warriors A (men's) and Young Sport A Women (women's) emerged as the champions at the first All Goa hockey 5s organised by Corozan Society Bastora at Den Goa Ribandar turf on Sunday.
In the men's semifinal, San Antonio Warriors A got the better of Young Sports A 3-2. In the second semifinal, Bastora Boys beat Young Sports B 4-3. In the final, San Antonio Warriors A beat Bastora Boys 4-2.
In the women’s section final, Young Sports A beat Bastora girls 5-3 via shootout. The game score was 3-3. Best player in men's was awarded to Pandu and best upcoming player Abban and in women, Nikita Naik was awarded best player of the tournament and Pavina Salgaokar was adjudged as the best upcoming young player, both from Young Sports. In the men's category, 14 teams and in the women, 6 teams participated.
