9th All Goa Inter Press/Media Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament organised by The Sports Journalist Association of Goa & Goa Tennis Ball Cricket Association in collaboration with The Sports Authority of Goa will be held on March 8 at SAG ground, near Panjim Gymkhana, Campal, Panaji.
The teams will comprise of maximum 11 players + 2 officials (1 coach + 1 manager) and the matches will be played on knock-out basis. Only 9 players will be part of the playing team on the field. The players should wear T-shirt in one colour and track pant with sports shoes compulsorily.
The matches will be played with light tennis ball (Nivia or Cosco) with maximum 6 overs. The Power Four Over will be an added attraction, wherein the batsman can score maximum 8 runs on boundary (sixer not allowed in this over). This over is the choice of batting side and has to taken before the 4th over. The tournament will be supervised by the Technical and Umpiring Committee of GTBCA.
Winners will be awarded cash prizes sponsored by Rian Rohan Harmalkar. The successful teams will be awarded trophies and individual prizes to the players for all matches, besides prize for best disciplined team will be awarded.
