Chetan Kavlekar, State awardee in Physical Education and sports has been appointed as the chairman of the Excellence Search Committee in archery by Archery Association of India (AAI). Chetan Kavlekar is presently the vice president of AAI, general secretary of Amateur Archery Association Goa, president of All Goa Council of Physical Education, HSS physical education teachers association (PETA)
The terms of reference of the committee is: To select and appoint coaches in archery for National and International competitions; to collect and analyse data of National and international archery coaches; appointment of coaches and support staff; to advertise and publicise recruitment of coaching and support staff for AAI; to shortlist candidates and submit to AAI; and to create data base and storage of the archers and coaches of international repute in archery.
