Khandi Bandoi downed favourites BDG 3-0 to enter the finals of Edoviso Dias Memorial Soccer, sponsored by Octaviano Dias and organised by Santa Cruz Club of Cavelossim at Fr Druston and Wellington ground, Cavelossim.
Khandi Bandoi led 1-0 at half time with a goal by veteran Charles Rodrigues, who took advantage of defender Poly's failure to clear the ball in the penalty area, to shoot the ball into the top corner of the goal.
Crossing over, Khandi Bandoi kept up the pressure with goals from rising stars Flanco Rodrigues and Asher Rodrigues to seal a place in their maiden finals where they will meet the winner of the semifinal between TP Boys and Miracle Boys of Mobor. Sheriff Jaques and Vinson Pereira played well for BDG.
Levino elected president of CSM Taleigao
Levino Anthony Pereira was elected unopposed as president for the 8th consecutive term at the elections to pick the new managing committee of Clube São Miguel de Taleigão for the term 2022-24.
