Goa secured a joint third-place finish (bronze medal) in the football event at the inaugural Khelo India Tribal Games 2026 held in Chhattisgarh. Goa’s campaign ended in the semifinals, where they suffered a 2-5 defeat against West Bengal.

MARGAOSwimmers from Margao RCC put up a commendable performance at the All India Open Water Swimming Competition held at Sernabatim beach recently.The event was organised by the Open Water Amateur Aquatics Federation of India in association with the Goa Swimming Association.In the U-14 category, Gargi Shirawaikar secured second place in the 1 km event and also participated in the 5 km race.
