MCC Royals registered a solid 16-run victory over MCC Stallions in the MCL 11 T20 tournament match played at the MCC Ground, Margao.
Batting first, MCC Royals posted 154/9 in 20 overs, with key contributions coming from Vijay (40), Abhishek Goyal (35) and Shailesh Redkar (30).
For Stallions, Dr. Ankush Patil (2/16), Govind Gaokar (2/32) and Rohit Mehta (2/36) bowled well to restrict the scoring.
In response, MCC Stallions were bowled out for 138 in 18.1 overs. Infancio Correia (38), Rohit Mehta (27) and Naval Naik (21) tried to stabilise the chase but couldn’t take the team over the line.
