Youth of Aquem Malbhat in collaboration with Model Margao will organize the much-anticipated "Mr. Madgaon 2025," Goa's premier bodybuilding and women's physique sports championship for Men, Women, and Masters. The event, organised by the Youth of Aquem Malbhat in collaboration with Model Margao, promises to be a grand showcase of talent and fitness excellence across diverse categories.
The press conference was chaired by Digambar Kamat, former Chief Minister of Goa and current MLA of Margao, Yogiraj Kamat of Model Margao, Sanjay Raikar (President, GBBFA), Khushali Virdikar, and Rishabh Karapukar (representing the Youth of Aquem Malbhat). The event is set to take place on Febaruary 1 at 7 pm at Aquem Malbhat, near the Yellow Black Taxi Stand, adjacent to the Fire Station near the Railway Station, Margao.
Digambar Kamat emphasized the significance of promoting health, fitness, and sportsmanship through such initiatives.
Yogiraj Kamat highlighted the importance of Model Margao's association with this championship. He elaborated on the competition's inclusive nature, featuring categories for Men (55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, and 75+kg), Women, and Masters. He also mentioned about the remarkable increase in prize money from ₹30,000 significantly boosted to a total prize worth ₹44,444.
The prize structure for the event was revealed: Champion of Champions: ₹44,444 + Trophy (Prize worth ₹79,444); 1st Place: ₹11,111 + Trophy + Medal; 2nd Place: ₹8,888 + Trophy + Medal; 3rd Place: ₹6,666 + Trophy + Medal; 4th Place: ₹4,444 + Trophy; 5th Place: ₹3,333/- + Trophy
Special categories include "Best Poser," "Most Improved Bodybuilder," and "Team Championship," each with a trophy.
