Odisha FC won their first pre-season match against Salgaocar FC 3-1 at Rosary Ground, Navelim on Saturday.
The visitors led 2-0 at halftime. Odisha coach Kiko Ramirez played an all-Indian squad for the friendly. Odisha took the lead through Nandhkumar Sekar before Daniel Lalthimpuia made it 2-0.
Down 0-2, Salgaocar put pressure on the rival citadel but Steflon frittered away from close range. Salgaocar reduced the margin in the second half when Saiesh Satardekar converted a spot-kick. Odisha put the issue beyond doubt when Isak Ralte scored with a snap-shot, 3-1.
