Oil India Limited and Reserve Bank of India won the men's and women's team championships respectively at the All India Public Sector table tennis tournament 2022-23 organised by LIC of India, at SAG Multipurpose Hall, Fatorda which concluded on Saturday.
The matches were held for team championship “ men & women, doubles event - men & women and individual championship - men & women.The medal list: Men's Team - First - Oil India Limited, Second - LIC of India, Third - Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Third - Food Corporation of India; Women's Team: First - Reserve Bank of India, Second - Food Corporation of India, Third - Bank of Baroda, Third - Oil India Limited; Men's doubles - First - Ankur Battacharjee/Agniv Bhaskar Gohain (OIL), Second - Sameer Sahani/Chitarksh Bhatt (FCI), Third - Sougata Sarkar/R Rajesh (LIC), Third - Aadarsh Om Chhetri/Divyansh Srivastava (HPCL); Women's doubles - First - Ayhika Mukherjee/Amruta Pushpak Shekhar (RBI), Second - Mouma Das/Trisha Gogoi (OIL), Third - Charwe Kawle/Ananya Basak (FCI), Third - V Kowshika/Gladlyn Flora (FCI); Men's singles - First - Divyansh Srivastava (HPCL), Second - Sougata Sarkar (LIC), Third - Aadarsh Om Chhetri (HPCL), Third - Ankur Battacharjee (OIL); Women's singles - First - Senhora D'souza (BOB), Second - V Kowshika (FCI), Third - Trisha Gogoi (OIL), Third - Priyadarshini Das (RBI).
The valedictory ceremony was graced by Kiran Ghai, regional manager, human resource development, western zone, LIC of India, and Rajesh Midha, secretary, human resource development, central office. The prize distribution was held at the hands of the dignitaries.
