Gerson Fernandes netted the match winner for Our Lady of Gloria SC in the eighth minute.
Ugem Rising Club tried to get back in the game but their strikers fumbled with the chances that were created by their teammates.
The winners were able to hold on to their slender lead as their defenders stood like a rock to see out the game till the final whistle.
