Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School U-17 boys beat Pachkroshi HSS 7-6 via the tiebreaker and emerged champions in the U-17 boys team at Pernem taluka Subroto Mukerjee football tournament played at Mandrem panchayat ground.
Mount Carmel moved ahead with back to back goals from the boot of Given Fernandes in the 23rd and 26th minute respectively. Panchkroshi netted two quick goals through Munna Roy in the 29th and 38th minutes and levelled terms.
In the tiebreaker, Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School boys proved to be better shooters.
