Orlim Social Action Team (OSAT) organised a football camp (under-14 and under-17) for the children of Orlim and surrounding villages, during the Diwali holidays.
The aim of the camp was to help the children to grow physically (fitness), mentally (strength) and grow socially with others. The village of Orlim had produced many footballers in the past, who played for various clubs in Goa and other parts of the country, clubs like Vasco, Salgaocar, MPT, MRF and so on. These ex-footballers were the coaches during the camp.
During the camp, the importance was given on the diet. The children were given an egg, glass of milk and fruit. A session was also given by Dr Crispy on the importance of diet food. The camp concluded on Friday as the parents were called and the panchayat members were present. Children were given a certificate of participation.
