Muskan Doddamani clinched a gold medal in discus throw - F13 category for the blind in the 13th Sub Junior & Junior Para Athletics National Championship 2024 held at Bengaluru recently.
She also secured fourth place in the 100-metre running and shot put throw. A contingent of seven players -- four blind and three intellectually impaired -- represented Goa in the tournament.
Lakshmikant Naik was the coach while Shamba Bhingi and Cency Fernandes were team officials.
Goa Paralympic Association president Vishram Naik, secretary Sudesh Thakur and other members of the association congratulated Muskan and other participants.
