Priority Titans, Progressive Ponda march into knockouts

Priority Titans and Progressive Ponda secured commanding victories to storm into the knockout stage on Day 14 of the Sarsangan Priority Super Series Cricket 2026, held at Arlem Cricket Ground.

In the first match, Priority Titans defeated CD Fountainheads by six wickets in a clinical all-round performance. Batting first, CD Fountainheads posted a competitive 201/6 in 20 overs, with Amod Borkar and Gaurish Shenvi Lotlikar scoring 35 each, while Venkatesh Salelkar remained unbeaten on 31 to anchor the innings. Amith Kamat led the Titans’ bowling attack with figures of 3 for 29.

In reply, the Titans chased down the target comfortably, reaching 205/4 in 19.2 overs. Sahish Mahambrey (34), Durgesh Prabhugaonkar (38), and Sanat Prabhudesai (35) laid a solid foundation before Rauji Kakodkar’s unbeaten 34 guided them home. Amith Kamat was named Man of the Match for his impactful all-round performance.

In the second match, Progressive Ponda outclassed Saraswat Tigers by seven wickets in a high-scoring encounter. Saraswat Tigers put up a strong total of 210/6, with Neelay Naik Dalal (39), Deval Karmali (36), Paarth Kossambe (35), and Pankaj Naik (32) contributing significantly. Vipul Deshprabhu and Atrinandan Kurade picked up two wickets each for Progressive Ponda.

Chasing 211, Progressive Ponda responded confidently, reaching 211/3 in 19 overs. Openers Pratham Kossambe and Sarin Pai Kane scored 36 each, while Vibhav Pai added 35 to keep the chase on track. Pratham Kossambe was adjudged Man of the Match for his decisive knock.

With these wins, Priority Titans and Progressive Ponda advanced to the knockout stage alongside CD Fountainheads and Saraswat Tigers, setting up an exciting conclusion to the tournament.
