Raia SC blank Guardian Angel SC to enter final

MARGAO: Raia Sporting Club booked their spot in the final of the 1st Vauradencho Ixtt Trophy by defeating Guardian Angel SC Curchorem 2-0 in the semifinals at the DSYA Ground, Curtorim, on Monday. The match was part of the inter-village football tournament organized by Margao Sports Club in association with Batora United Club.

Raia Sporting Club’s Swidon Barbosa was the star of the match, scoring both goals in the 17th and 34th minutes to secure the victory for his team.

Raia Sporting Club will now face Fr. Agnelo YSC Paroda in the final, which will be held on Sunday, 16th February 2025, at the DSYA Ground, Curtorim.

Joseph Mathew, Senior Executive of 108 Ambulance, was the chief guest of the event and presented the Man of the Match award to Swidon Barbosa for his stellar performance.
