CANACONA: The Canacona Taluka Government Primary Women's Teachers' Association won the title in the All Goa Government Primary Teachers' Association Women's Cricket Tournament, organised by the Bicholim Taluka Government Primary Teachers' Association. They defeated Bicholim Taluka Government Primary Women Teachers Association.
Gauri Velip was awarded the Best Player of the Tournament and Shreya Pagi was awarded the Player of the Match.
The Canacona team comprises of captain Aarti Kolambkar, vice-captain Gauri Velip, wicketkeeper Shreya Pagi, Gauri Velip, Niyati Gaonkar, Pramila Gaonkar, Smita Gaokar, Maya Gaonkar, Mohini Prabhu, Pournima Velip, Deepa Velip, Sukanti Velip, Nishikanthi Desai, Supriya Velip, Shital Pagi. The team was coached and guided by Bhalchandra Gaonkar, Lavind Gaonkar, Laxman Velip and Dhillon Gaonkar.
