Ravora Boys edged past Ratwado Boys 1-0 and moved into the next round of the Navelim Uprising Trophy inter-ward tournament at Govt Primary School ground, Telaulim-Navelim on Sunday.
Ansen Pexiote netted the match-winner for Ravora Boys. In another match, Sirvodem Boys defeated Dialgona 2-1 and moved into the next round. Sirvodem scored a goal each through Rylan and Lazarene while Frendon netted for Dialgona.
Vasco City SCC edge past Salcete FC
Vasco City SCC overcame Salcete FC 3-2 in the South Zone Playoff of GFA Under-17 I-League at Rosary ground, Navelim on Sunday.
The teams displayed attacking soccer and had an equal number of scoring chances. Arian Singh, Keegan D'Souza and Shawn Paradox were the goal-getters for Vasco City, while Josley Gomes and Nesilo Fernandes scored for Salcete FC.
