Rosary Boys Davorlim shunted out Sao Jose de Areal 3-2 via the tiebreaker and moved into the final of the 15th all Goa Rebello Pandal Maina football tournament organised by Rebello Pandal Maina, at St Rita Church Ground, Maina, on Tuesday. Full time score remained goalless. In the tiebreaker, Rosary Boys Davorlim netted through Aron Client and Venson and for Sao Jose de Areal, Sezwin and Joseph scored. Rosary Boys Davorlim will meet Michon Warriors Margao in the final on April 24.

Ayush wins Mormugao Open Chess

MARGAOAyush Shetkar emerged champion in the Mormugao Taluka Open Chess Tournament April 2022, organised by Mormugao Taluka Chess Association under the aegis of Goa Chess association, at Keshav Smruti High School, Dabolim. The tournament was sponsored by a well-wisher in the fond memory of his parents Late Patricio D’Souza, Late Blanche D’Souza and his sister Late Ann D’Souza.
