Vedanta’s Sesa Football Academy recently hosted Mark Hull from the 3D coaching institute for an in-depth session on 3-dimensional coaching to further boost its grassroot training programmes with high focus on three important aspects -- fundamentals, psychology, and heart.
According to a press release, Mark, who has done 3D workshops in four continents with coaches and sports leaders from more than 25 countries, guided the SFA coaches on the importance of building character of the trainees through holistic training approach, which will help in further adding up to their professional football trainings. He also interacted with the SFA trainees and motivated them to make the most out of the robust residential training programme provided by Sesa Football Academy.
Sesa Football Academy, established in 1999, has groomed over 200 + skilled footballers through robust grassroot training programmes of which nine have played for the Indian national team and many are shining at prestigious footballing platforms such as ISL, I-League etc. This unique training session was highly beneficial for the coaches and academy players in honing up their skills, and further motivated them to upgrade training techniques, the release stated.
“It’s an honour to be here at SFA where they are trying to make a notable difference in the lives of the aspiring players. Not just technically and tactically but our encouragement is also to skill and coach the mind, focussing on capturing the heart, building the foundation of purpose through 3D coaching,” Hull said.
