SSC Loutolim moved to the quarter-finals after defeating Ambelim SC 3-1 of the 1st Antonio Rebelo Memorial, organised by Curtorim Gymkhana, at DSYA ground, Curtorim, on Monday.
Loutolim scored the first first goal through Shelford Fernandes in the 12th minute.
Soon after Shelford Fernandes scored his second goal for Loutolim in the 17th minute. Than Ambelim pulled a goal back through Velroy Rebello in the 27th minute.
Post-resumption, Loutolim scored third goal through Ignatius D'Silva in the 47 minute.
Shelford Fernandes of SSC Loutolim was awarded the man of the match. Jurico Correia of Ambelim SC was presented the Best defender of the match by Curtorim Gymkhana treasurer Vincent Rodrigues.
