SVVM's College, Borim beat hosts CES College 3-1 in the 1st inter-college football tournament organised by CES College of Arts and Commerce, Cuncolim at Government School Playground, Ambelim on Thursday.
The Borim college held the upper hand and scored through Kashyap Metri, Kishan and Ishan while Derryl D'Souza scored the consolation goal for the Cuncolim college.
In the second match, Govt College, Borda defeated Vidya Prabodhini College, Porvorim 2-1. Sohail Tadkod and Rio Costa were the goal-getters for Borda. Nandish Shirodkar scored for the Porvorim institute.
In the third match, Shree Damodar College, Margao thrashed Multi Faculty College, Dharbandora 4-1. Gaurav Singh scored a brace while Loyal Vaz and Elroy Oliveira netted a goal each for the Margao side. Harsh scored the lone goal for the Dharbandora college.
In the final game of the day, MES College, Zuarinagar defeated St Joseph Vaz College, Cortalim 4-1. Pradeep Bind, Shivam Baraik, Sainath Jambothkar and Akshay Passi scored for MES College. Vignesh Naik scored the only goal for St Joseph Vaz.
