MARGAO: Verna CSC defeated St. Sebastian YSC Fatorda 4-3 via the tiebreaker to move ahead in the St. Rock's inter-village football tournament at Majorda ground.
Edgar Noronha gave lead to Fatorda which was later cancelled by Desmond Gama for Verna. In the ensuing tiebreaker, Verna proved to be better shooters.
