In a first-ever Christmas ride in South Goa, 75 cyclists took to the road on Saturday, December 26 evening to celebrate the Xaxti Riders Christmas Ride, 2020.
“Clad in cheery-red and riding the glowing wheels, the swarm of cyclists roamed through the wonderland of lit homes, Christmas trees, life-like Santa Clauses and enchanting cribs, delighting the watchers and the passers-by,” Xaxti Riders said in a press release.
The Christmas Ride, winding through the villages of Curtorim, Macazana and Chandor, with a brief refreshment halt at Chandor Monte, ended a couple of hours later.
Xaxti Riders president Sameer Nadkarni said: “Christmas Ride 2020 was the perfect finale to our regular immunity-boosting and stress-busting rides throughout the year.”
