PANAJI: VP’s Mandre College of Commerce, Economics and Management organised PRAYoG (Promoting Research Among Youth of Goa) “ Phase 3, an initiative of the Research, Development and Innovation Cell under the Directorate of Higher Education, on February 9, 2026, for TYBCom students.
Principal in-charge Chaitali Gawas welcomed the participants and stressed the need to build research skills and academic writing abilities.
The session on research report writing and publication was conducted by Kaustubh Kamat, assistant director (academic), Directorate of Higher Education.
He explained project guidelines, report structure and ways to prepare for the viva. Students also attended practical training on data analysis using MS Excel. A separate hands-on session on MS Word covered drafting and formatting as per academic standards.
The programme was organised by Jovita Lobo. Siddhi Pawar compered the event, while Trupti Gauns delivered the vote of thanks. Participants engaged in discussions and practical exercises throughout the programme.
